Ironically titled ‘I Don’t Do Landscapes’, as I don’t do Landscapes these days but that wasn’t always the case! At around 9yrs old, when my body was overflowing with more movement than I could control, I was fortunate to be introduced to paint by my Occupational Therapist. Although instead of using my hands, I was given an odd contraption which allowed me to paint with my head. Having been exposed to a method that I could embrace as well as being introduced to the amazingly talented Artist Billy Campbell, who painted with his head; this fuelled a fire which has been ablaze ever since!!! Over 26 years ago on Christmas morning I presented this landscape to my parents, who filled up with amazement! It still hangs in their good room, pride of place! Thank goodness my OT picked paint instead of buttons or something equally as mundane...how different life could have been lol! I don’t do any landscapes now but this felt right at this moment...explosive sky with at least 40 shades of green & metallics too! I love her, what do you think??
